Blog Post Twelve: Aries Full Moon 2025
Full Super Moon in Aries 14 degrees October 6, 2025, 8:47pm PT.
The Aries Full Moon comes in like fire on the tongue – raw, immediate, impossible to ignore. At 14 degrees, we’re right in the heart of Aries energy: instinct, courage, initiation, the refusal to wait for permission. This lunation is a burning torch held up against the night sky, illuminating both where we’ve been hesitant and where we’re ready to leap.
For me, I feel this Moon as a call back into the body. Aries doesn’t tolerate hesitation; it reminds me that desire itself is sacred direction. That the pulse in the chest, the heat rising in my blood, are signals not to be ignored. Aries asks me: Where are you still holding back? Where have you dulled your edges for the comfort of others?
Collectively, this Full Moon is a release point for pent-up frustrations and hidden desires. With Aries opposite the Libra Sun, we’re balancing the “I” and the “We”. Partnerships, collaborations, and commitments may feel like they’re under a bright light – where is the balance between compromise and self-betrayal? Where have we forgotten the wildness of our own will? This lunation doesn’t whisper. It roars.
There may be impatience, flare-ups, tempers, but beneath it is something holy: the chance to reclaim vitality. To act. To burn inertia. Aires is the warrior, but it’s also the spark of life itself. Under this Moon, courage becomes medicine.
Rituals:
1. Fire Invocation: Light a red or white candle. Speak aloud the thing you’re afraid to claim but know you want. Aries doesn’t need perfection, just honesty.
2. Release Through Movement: Dance, stomp, Shake. Moves the body until heat rises. Let sweat be your offering.
3. Write & Burn: On paper, write the places you’ve compromised too much, the “should” you’re done with. Burn them safely, watching smoke rise as a vow to choose yourself.
4. Courage Spell: Anoint your pulse points with cinnamon or clove oil (diluted). Whisper: I am willing to begin. I am willing to be seen.
Journal Prompts:
· Where am I being called to act now, not later?
· What anger or frustration is actually a sign of suppressed desire?
· How can I honour my needs without collapsing into selfishness?
· What does courage feel & look like in my body today?
The Moon is a mirror of primal truth. It reminds us that our fire is not a liability, it’s the life force that forges new paths. The invitation is simple, and also terrifying: choose yourself. Begin again. Burn away hesitation.
With light & love,
Tamara
