Blog Post Two: Leo New Moon

Leo New Moon 2 degrees on July 24, 2025, at 12:11 pm pacific time. New moons are a time when the moon is dark. A time when in the darkness space is created for renewal. A time to set new intentions in the area that Leo rules in your birth chart.

Leo symbolises leadership, royalty, heart, creativity, and courage. Where in your chart does Leo infuse you with these energies?

Leo rules my 10th House of Career & Reputation, my natal moon is also housed there. I am still discovering how this placement effects my life.

This new moon is opposite Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto the planet of transformation, death, & rebirth. With this opposing aspect, you may feel pulled in two directions. Like a teeter-totter, finding balance is the key to utilising these energies in the best way. I found oppositions to be helpful to discover what changes need to be made to move forward with more ease.

The beauty of a Leo New Moon is that it will infuse you with creativity. What seemed unclear or impossible, if you listen to your heart, not your head, your answer will be clear.

How do you tap into your heart energy? Play, indulge your creativity, spend time with uplifting people & children. Kids naturally embody Leo’s playful energy.

My Intention for this new moon is to “play” with my work. That’s precisely why I am sitting here writing this… I find so much joy in writing!
