Blog Post Five: Sweet Conjunction Offering
When Jupiter and Venus embrace on Sirius in the sign of Cancer today August 12, 2025, blessings flow through the heart like starlight into the ocean- Expansion meets love, and destiny answers with a YES!
This is a picture I took just a few days ago. I planted these hollyhocks along a part of our chain link fence that I wanted to add some colour and softness. I am embarrassed to say, that due to neglect I thought they all had perished. But lo and behold one seemed to reemerge this summer! So, I immediately had to know the meaning of hollyhocks.
Hollyhocks symbolize connection between realms. Traditionally, tall hollyhocks were said to bridge the heavens and the earth. Their towering stems symbolized a spiritual ladder or pathway for prayers and blessings to move between worlds.
Hollyhocks are linked to the divine feminine, motherhood, and the cycles of life. Their abundant blossoms represent nurturing, creativity, and the ability to flourish in changing conditions.
They are biennials, symbolizing faith in life’s ongoing renewal and the patience to see things through. Planted near front doors as a charm for good fortune and to protect the home from negative energy. Pink hollyhocks represent love, compassion, and maternal care.
Hollyhock’s spiritual meaning mirrors and grounds this conjunction’s themes:
The conjunction is a heavenly alignment connecting earthly love (Venus) and higher spiritual wisdom (Jupiter & Sirius). Venus on Sirius opens a portal for divine wisdom. Jupiter with Sirius brings spiritual protection and fortune.
This conjunction plants seeds for years to come, not just immediate magic. Hollyhocks are biennials. They remind you that what is begun today may fully blossom later. Aligning with long-range cosmic cycles.
What does this mean for you?
