Blog Post Ten: Autumn Equinox & Libra Season 2025

On September 22, 2025, the wheel of the year turns at the Autumn Equinox. Day and night stand as equals, suspended in perfect balance, before the tilt carries us deeper into the long shadow season.

With the Sun’s entrance into Libra, we’re invited to remember that balance isn’t about perfection, it’s about rhythm. The dance between light and dark, giving and receiving, self and other.

Libra season is ruled by Venus, a reminder that beauty isn’t frivolous, it’s medicine. The way we arrange our homes, our words, and our choices creates harmony or discord. This season asks: What are you choosing to harmonize with?

The equinox opens a threshold. If we listen, we’ll hear the invitation to let go of what has tipped us out of alignment. It’s a season to craft rituals of release, to gather with loved ones, and to honour the cycles that keep us in flow with something greater.

The equinox is a cosmic reset: equal light and dark. Use this energy to align with the Libra archetype of balance, beauty, and relationship.

Themes to work with:

·      Recalibration in relationships – noticing imbalances and re-negotiating with grace.

·      Re-enchanting your environment – invite beauty, art, and Venusian rituals into daily life.

·      Shadow integration – balance comes not from denying darkness, but from weaving it into the whole.

Rituals:

1.   Balance Altar – place one object to represent light, and one for shadow. Offer gratitude for both.

2.   Write Two Lists – what you are releasing with the waning light, and what you are cultivating in the dark half of the year.

3.   Libra Invocation – call in harmony, truth, and right relationship. Asking Venus to bless your connections.

The 2025 Libra season amplifies the need for authenticity in our connections. With Pluto moving through Aquarius, collective and personal relationships are undergoing deep restructuring – not every bond makes it through unchanged. What survives is stronger, truer, and freer.

With light & love,

Tamara
